Who am I?

I’m an amateur1 philosopher and writer consistently awed by how beautifully interesting and mysterious life can be. My interests range from art, religion, and linguistics to sociology, anthropology, and psychopharmacology—I’m fascinated by how these fields intersect with our world.
What’s the blindpill?
The blindpill is an active rejection of the illusions that dominate our modern world—filled with bottomless doomscrolls, political theater, and hyperconsumerism that are exploiting our attention and emotions.

It’s about questioning the meaning behind the stories we’re told, and seeking truth beyond the curated realities of screens and algorithms.
To take the blindpill is to reclaim your attention, rediscover meaningful connection, and build a life rooted in authenticity, community, and wonder.
It’s an invitation to step outside the spectacle and join people in your life who value real relationships, thoughtful reflection, and purposeful living.
People take so many pictures, they miss the big picture. They're so connected, they're disconnected. -Pitbull

I use writing as an exercise in belief analysis, and as a way to integrate the thoughts and ideas that are had while engaging in conversation with people I love. It’s fun to allow those thoughts to be scrutinized in the marketplace of ideas, and have thoughtful discourse with other curious people.
Part of being blindpilled is taking an active approach in choosing what media we participate in, not just passively letting it be dictated by an algorithm. I like the newsletter model because it feels a little more analog and intentional than consuming and creating other forms of ‘social’ media.
If something you read resonates with you, it would be so cool to hear that you shared it with a friend and it sparked a good yap sesh.
Thanks for coming along- I love you all <3
etymologically- to do it for the love of the game
